The Associate Project Manager will be part of the service organization looking after industrial turbines and compressors at our customer base in West Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands).

In collaboration with the West Europe team as well as the Global Centers of Competences, the Associate Project Manager will be responsible for supporting projects from bid to finalization. With the understanding of customer’s needs, the Associate Project Manager will generate or support in the development of customized proposals for services and coordinate the execution of projects to a successful completion.

 In our West Europe service team we are looking for an Associate Project Manager who will actively support designated projects creating profitable business and driving customer satisfaction.

Your job in short: You support the quotation and execution process for projects

In the quotation phase:

• Create good understanding of customer’s needs and support the Project Manager in defining the project scope
• Communicate with and support respective factories
• Manage of offerings for local content, if and when necessary
• Generate quotations, including commercial (price, budget) and technical aspects
• Support Sales and Project Management in securing orders
• Ensure CRM records (opportunities) are up-to-date

In the execution phase:

• Responsible for supporting in executing the projects within the committed timeline and budget, and keeping the organization informed through progress reports
• Maintain good stakeholder relations to ensure the smooth implementation of the assigned service contracts and projects
• Identify and organize the appropriate resources required for the project implementation, including subcontractors, temporary and permanent SE staff (local and overseas) ind. Specialists.
• Communicate with and support respective Global Engineering and Manufacturing locations

Functie-eisen

• 1 to 3 years experience in or with project management
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or combined Business and Engineering
• Knowledge/experience in rotating equipment will be an asset.
• Fluent in English, both written & spoken. Dutch is preferred, and German and/or French is/are a plus.

The ideal candidate is a junior who want to become a project manager.

Preference for working in Hengelo, but is also possible in Zoeterwoude.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Salary: €2500 – €3000 p.m. based on full time.
• Hours: 40 hour p.w. (32 hours p.w. is optional)
• Location: Zoeterwoude or Hengelo (you choose)
• Start date: flexible, but preferably soon
• Contract: 1 year via Yacht, after that extension or a perm contract with the company is possible
