You will be part of the Customer Digital team (24 FTE) within the broader commercial department, which deploys digital to realise the port’s strategy and improve performance. Fueled by data and insights, we identify bottlenecks for our customers and work with market players on digital solutions. We do not build these ourselves, but coordinate and orchestrate them. In the field of energy and raw materials transition, we have already rolled out several commercial value propositions together with startups, scale-ups, suppliers and knowledge institutes. The team is multidisciplinary with various nationalities and backgrounds.
In addition, you will work closely with the Advanced Analytics team (6 FTE) that solves complex business issues and provides insights to support the Customer Digital team. This team – consisting of data scientists – optimises the port area and creates forecasting and simulation models based on market data for the future of the port.
Collecting and analysing energy data from the industrial cluster is new to our organisation. Based on insights and modelling, we can organise system integration that grid operators or companies cannot achieve on their own, which is necessary for an optimally operating and resilient cluster.
