VIE – Process Engineer – H/F

As a VIE, come join Saint-Gobain Construction Products Netherlands BV. in Etten-Leur and contribute to our need to speed up the development of our process to stay competitive.

As a Process Engineer VIE, your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and optimizing process plans and leading process projects and improvement team;
• Supporting the operational teams with complex issues by leveraging data analysis and professional knowledge, using the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodology; the focus will be in the fields of automation/control and energy technology;
• Participating in and leading project teams that work on more complex problems and you are the initiator of WCM improvement teams (TPM, Kaizens);
• In addition to technical optimization and improvements, you are initiating the realization of work processes and organizational improvements;
• You will also be working alongside colleagues in the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) improvement and implementation Teams.

If you recognize yourself in the following description, don’t hesitate to apply!

• You hold an Engineering degree (in the General, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical field)
• You have a first experience in an industrial environment and know the basics of mechanics
• You are familiar with some quality management methods such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Some knowledge in the field of control technology such as PLC programming (S7 and TIA portal) and adjusting control circuits would be nice to have
• You have an analytical mindset
• You are hands-on and proactive, and like to be on the field
• You can easily communicate with various stakeholders
• You have an enthusiastic, positive attitude
• You are Fluent in English; Dutch language courses will be offered by Saint-Gobain

You will join a versatile team combining experienced and young talents. Together with cross departmental teams you will get the opportunity to investigate current issues at the production line. There is an open working culture, it’s free to ask anything.

You will be reporting directly to the Production Manager and will also be in touch with Engineers from the cold end and hot end departments and will have the opportunity to join work groups.

• You’ll have a second interview with the Production Manager and the Plant Manager (on Teams)
• Then, you’ll have a final interview with the local HRBP to discuss practical arrangements (on Teams)
• If you are selected, you will receive confirmation by email and have an Onboarding Day at the Tour Saint-Gobain in Paris before your departure.
