As a System Owner – Procurement, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions and preparing our processes and systems for the next steps in our transformation journey.

Our Procurement Excellence department is at the core of this transformation. We are responsible for ensuring the high performance of our current operations while managing global procurement processes, tools, and systems to support these processes and procurement activities.

What you will do

• You take responsibility for the further development of central tools to make our global procurement processes more efficient. You lead process improvement initiatives and promote the standardization of systems.
• You act as an expert in data management within our systems, supporting end-users in their daily use of procurement systems and processes.
• You manage contracts for tools and systems, maintaining relationships with account management and internal stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
• You collaborate with Global Process Owners, project managers, and other colleagues in Procurement Excellence to digitize and implement new eProcurement tools. You use your expertise to help define requirements for the procurement system landscape.
• You support and guide both Procurement and the Finance department in projects, such as the implementation of S4/HANA and other internal S2P applications.

Qualifications

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience working with SAP R/3, SAP ECC, or S/4 HANA in procurement, ideally in an international environment.
• Preferably a university degree.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, systems, and requirements and how they interact.
• Knowledge of eProcurement systems and experience with implementing SAP-integrated eCatalogs.
• Motivation to tackle challenging problems and a proactive approach to questioning and improving complex processes.
• Fluency in German and English at C1 level.
