Celestia Satellite Test & Simulation BV (C-STS) provides innovative high‐tech solutions to the international space
community to support spacecraft development, Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) as well as post launch and
operational services. C-STS operates from Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

Our core activities include the design, development and support of high-complexity electronics-based systems. These
include products for Satellite Simulation & Test (Electrical Ground Support Equipment), TTC & TM/TC Systems, Modems
(RF and Optical) as well as Data Processing Systems.

Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a System Engineer to strengthen our existing team of talented engineers. You will be joining our
system engineering team with projects ranging from Laser Satellite Communications to spacecraft Test and Simulation
systems.
What will be your challenges:
- Analysing customer requirements specifications (CRS) & Statements of Work
- Deriving system decomposition/design (HW, SW, COTS)
- Providing input for project resourcing, planning, cost trade-offs, new developments, risks, etc.
- Coordinating technical discussions/meetings (internal and external)
- Producing and coordinating writing of design documentation, including test plans
- Supporting reviews with customers (e.g. PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
- Configuring and integrating systems (or coordination of such activities)
- Producing and/or coordinating system test procedure(s)
- Providing the input for Procurement
- Reporting progress to Project Manager
What we ask from you:
- Optical or Electronics engineering degree (B.Sc. or higher)
- At least 2-year experience in System Engineering
- Good team worker, pro-active and hands-on
- Good English verbal and written communication skills in multi-disciplinary project teams
- Experience/knowledge in SDA, CCSDS and ECSS standards is an advantage
- Experience/knowledge in using lab test equipment is an advantage
- Experience/knowledge in modulation and coding techniques is an advantage
- Experience/knowledge in (aero)space business is an advantage
