The Material Handler will be responsible for correct processing the incoming goods & outgoing orders within the boundaries of the work-instructions and procedures according the company guidelines. You will be also responsible for processing the outbound orders on quantities, correct parts, damages and other inconveniences to maintain a correct delivery leve
What You’ll Do
Move freight and stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment such as trucks, tractors, or forklift,
Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order,
Follow written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties – Including fulfillment process,
Stage products based on customer orders; assist in filling customer orders,
Sort cargo during loading or unloading process and mark containers with identifying information,
Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order,
Stack products in specific locations,
Document the numbers of units handled or moved each day using production sheets (or system),
Utilize protective devices—padding, straps, etc.—to prevent damage to items during transport,
Operate machinery such as cameras, cranes, reachtrucks and forklifts to handle materials and stock,
Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order,
Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis,
Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in a delivery
This is a full-time position
Working hours can be scheduled into shifts in the near future
Perform other duties as required
What You’ll Bring
Valid Forklift license is preferable (Practical experience is mandatory)
Reach truck license would be beneficial
Availability to work overtime hours preferred, second shift or exceptionally in the weekend if necessary
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
Basic knowledge of / experience with WMS / ERP systems would be beneficial
Familiar with external shipping software would be beneficial
Must have basic command of the English language, both written and verbal
Proven work experience within Logistic or Distribution center environment, or other warehousing background
5S experience a plus
Team worker, accuracy, flexibility / self-starter, stress resistance
Take initiative and work with minimum guidance
Reliable, committed, and quality focused
Perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift 10-25 kg’s on a daily basis
Maintain a safe working environment
Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship or valid work permit) is required
