You are a talented Managed File Transfer engineer with deep understanding of Managed File Transfer protocols and eperienced with the MFT solution of the Away suite. You have eperience with maintaining an infrastructure via azure pipeline and ansible.
The team
You will join the FileTransfer team who is responsible for the FileTransferservice which is used internal, between ING applications, and eternal, between ING and eternal partners.
This team manages a big estate of different assets over different platforms, each asset having their own functionality and technical challenges.
Roles and responsibilities
You will work on a new solution for the eternal file transfer service, migrate the consumers and maintain the infrastructure.
Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage infrastructure as code
DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and efficient application deployment.
DevSecOps Security: Implement (automate) and maintain robust security measures to protect our platforms from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in platform architecture and work on risk mitigation strategies.
Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for improved efficiency.
Alerting and Incident Response: Set up proactive alerting systems and develop incident response procedures to ensure platform reliability and availability.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Coaching and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members and share your epertise through coaching and knowledge-sharing sessions.

You have eperience in continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab
You have eperience with automated deployments via Ansible.
You have ecellent knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Shell).
You have strong technical skills and proficiency in Java development.
Hand-on eperience with Away products (CFT/Gateway/Secure Transport) is a big plus.
You have eperience with OS monitoring tools (such as Grafana and Prometheus) as well as dashboard creation
You have great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
You are a strong communicator and like to collaborate with others.
You are eager to learn new technologies and ability to pick up things quickly and put them into use.
You think it through and look at the larger picture
You have basic knowledge of Scrum / Kanban and Agile methodologies
You have good English communication skills, verbal as well as written
Important competencies: problem-solving, creativity, cooperation, disciplined and result-oriented
