General Description
The primary objective of this role is to efficiently prepare and ensure the availability of clear, actionable work packages (“workable work”) for the production of machined components used in pumps made from a variety of materials. The role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Production teams to support smooth and effective manufacturing processes.
Key tasks:
Determining production and verification operations
Defining and managing (CNC) machining and measurement methods
Defining and managing clamping tools
Defining and managing machining tools
Defining and managing measuring instruments
Creating and managing CNC programs
Creating and managing work, process, and measurement instructions
Creating and managing product routing with setup and cycle times
Identifying deviations in processes and/or products
Determining rework and preparing execution and guidance
Supporting production in executing new and/or special production assignments
Advising on in-house and outsourced production issues
Analyzing, creating, and implementing improvement proposals regarding safety, quality, costs, manufacturability, logistics, tools, and methods
Participating in projects
Responsibilities:
Ensuring workplace safety within production processes and equipment
Preparing and ensuring the quality of processes and products
Optimizing cost price and machining times
Co-responsible for departmental results and making improvement proposals
Skills:

Documenting (implementation of) changes
Planning own tasks based on time calculations and monitoring the schedule
Reporting additional or reduced work and specification changes
Proactive and positive attitude, taking initiative in maintaining contact and coordination within the internal organization
Education & Experience:
Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Knowledge of technical materials (e.g., steel, stainless steel, (super)duplex, bronze from solid and cast parts)
Experience with process and labor analyses
