Senior Sales Engineer
Job Advert Summary
Pragma is seeking a Dutch-speaking Senior Sales Engineer with a hunter mindset to break into new manufacturing accounts and complement the efforts of our existing sales leader, Henk. This role is designed for a seasoned sales professional with a strong AMS/ENG background, capable of opening doors, navigating complex industrial environments, and driving strategic conversations with decision-makers. The successful incumbent will be the spearhead for new client acquisition, leveraging your technical acumen and consultative selling skills to identify pain points, craft tailored solutions, and close deals.
Minimum Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Engineering, asset management systems) is preferred
- A minimum of 5 – 8 years experience in technical sales, ideally in EAM, CMMS, SaaS or industrial software/services.
- Deep understanding of asset-intensive environments and maintenance strategies.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Hunting & Lead Conversion
- Actively pursue and convert leads from our top 20 targeted companies.
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Break down barriers and open doors, following the example of top performers like Zarel Henning.
- Sales Execution & Presales Expertise
- Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand client challenges.
- Collaborate with Henk to build and deliver compelling proposals and demos.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a focus on ROI and operational impact.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, from plant engineers to C-suite.
- Support Henk in strategic account management and expansion.
- Ensure seamless handover to delivery teams for implementation success.
- Market Intelligence & Industry Presence
- Stay ahead of trends in asset management, and digital transformation.
- Represent Pragma at Dutch and EU industry events, trade shows, and forums.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to refine offerings.
