Our team is responsible for protecting the heart of the digital infrastructure. We ensure that all Risk, Security, and Compliance requirements for Oracle Databases are met — from identity and access management (OID/OUD) to vulnerability and privileged access management.

We collaborate closely with stakeholders to manage incoming demand, set priorities, and drive improvements through smart automation.

The Oracle Area is part of a larger IT Foundation unit whose mission is:

In short: we are the backbone that enables other teams to build and run secure and reliable applications.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, test, and maintain automation solutions that improve the security and compliance of our Oracle database infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across DevOps teams, always seeking smarter and more efficient ways of working.

Your key responsibilities:
Engineer solutions that secure infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, integrating them into the existing IT landscape.
Ensure high availability, security, and continuity of the Oracle environment.
Work closely with other DevOps teams and the Product Owner.
Act as a proactive team member, helping and coaching others in development and Ansible-related skills.

You are a developer with strong expertise in Ansible and a passion for automation. You’re experienced in designing workflows for provisioning, configuring, and monitoring Linux-based infrastructure. Python knowledge is a plus.

You offer:
Solid experience in deployment automation and writing/test-driving infrastructure code.
Enthusiasm for automation tools and technologies such as Azure DevOps, APIs, and REST interfaces — even for smaller-scale tasks.
A willingness to share knowledge and help others grow.
The ability to keep a broad view while solving in-depth integration challenges.
A collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and drive for continuous improvement.
Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).

Must-have Skills:
Hands-on experience with Ansible and tools like VS Code
Familiarity with LDAP, EUS, and ideally OUD or OID
Solid knowledge of encryption at rest (e.g., TDE), in transit (TLS), and message-level security
Oracle Linux expertise

Nice-to-have or Willing to Learn:
Oracle FMW and WebLogic
Python coding
SCIM and IAM (Identity & Access Management)
DBA practices and procedures
Experience with OEM, Splunk, and CyberArk
