As an Information Security Officer (ISO) at Enexis, you are a trusted advisor to the organization and senior management. You balance between business objectives and information security within the IT domain and provide broad support on these issues. As a proactive professional, you share your knowledge of information security within the organization, with a strong focus on Management and Improvement Chains. Your advice on the implementation and execution of our company-wide information security policy is invaluable. Both internal and external stakeholders know you as the expert on information security at Enexis.

Job Description

How you will take on this challenge:

As an Information Security Officer (ISO) at Enexis, you will be the central point of contact for all information security-related questions within the IT domain. With your expertise, you focus on collaborating with Management and Improvement chains, ensuring continuous feedback exchange and closely monitoring the latest market trends. You contribute to developing and implementing information security policies, standards, and guidelines, particularly for the IT department. You play a key role in implementing security measures, conducting risk analyses, and providing training. Additionally, you monitor the information security status by regularly reporting and ensuring that measures and tests are executed correctly. Thanks to your close collaboration with various departments and external parties, we collectively ensure that every security challenge is addressed, and security is continuously improved.

• You are the point of contact for information security-related questions within the IT domain.
• You develop and implement information security policies and guidelines, specifically for the IT department.
• You provide training, support risk analyses, and assist with ISMS implementation.
• You monitor the security status and regularly report on the execution of measures.

You mobilize internal knowledge experts to implement the latest technological developments and best practices, and you proactively collaborate with your stakeholders to ensure compliance with all security standards. Your expertise is also indispensable in defining security requirements for our suppliers and conducting due diligence.

Your close collaboration with various departments is crucial to continuously ensure and improve security. By maintaining contact with external parties, you gain valuable insights and information about sector-wide threats, which you then apply within Enexis.

Job Requirements

Job requirements: 

You help others come to responsible conclusions and decisions by evaluating their arguments. With convincing power, you support team members in aligning differences in viewpoints. You promote the expansion and utilization of relationships and networks to achieve information security objectives. Additionally, you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in computer science, security, or another IT-related field.
• Interest in gaining experience in cybersecurity/information security.
• You learn to work with information security management systems (ISMS) and risk management, and you become familiar with common security standards (such as ISO 27001).
• Good command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

• Salary between € 3.220 and € 4.600 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week). Including secondary benefits, your salary can rise to € 5920,- gross per month.

• Personal budget of 10% and a 13th-month salary of 10.7% of your gross annual salary. You can use this budget flexibly or have it paid out monthly or annually.
